If your homepage won't come up, you are likely hijacked. This isn't a virus, but spyware. You need to download, update and run Spybot S%26D and/or Lavasoft's Ad-aware.

Ur computer is most probably affected by adwares and trojans. I got the same problem a couple of weeks back. Try doing a scan with Adware SE- that shd root out all those nonsensical spywares. Hopes this helps.
Run anti virus and anti spy programs in safe mode after you have turned off system restore. Only turn system restore back on after you have erradicated the malware. Use two or three anti spyware programs but only one anti virus to avoid conflicts. Then set your home page everything should be ok. Lesson learned,don't install third party toolbars unless it's ebay,Yahoo or google. 99% of the toolbars are full of spy and Adware.
