I am looking for a good anti-spyware software, and I found Spyware doctor and Spysweeper. I did a scan with both and Spyware Doctor was able to find a Trojan and other spyware, while Spysweeper only detected tracking cookies. I want to know why Doctor could detect more things, while Spysweeper (w/ no anti-virus protection enabled) couldn't find as much. Next I would like to know which is the better and safer of the two.

Here is the reasons:

you'll find out that Spy Sweeper is not as good as it should be; and if you look around questions, you'll find several sayingthat Spybot, Spyware Doctor and Ad-aware are also have some problems with solving malicious problems.
