spam block , banner block , virus , spyware etc. Iv'e just about had it with re-formatting the hard drive , and am just looking for one or two fullproof answers to my computer pains in the ***......I have access to EZ Armor , does anyone have any opinions on EZ- armor......Please , someone help. There is no one or two programs that will completely protect you. It's not so much what you have as what you do.

I don't run those programs at all and I never get spyware, virii, or any of that.

A few things, increase your security in IE, completely disable ActiveX controls, cookies, downloads, and the like.

Remove or Do not install Flash or Shockwave players.

And for heaven's sake, stay away from places you shouldn't be, like Porn sites, warez sites, hacking sites. Only go to sites you trust. Those other places are rife with spyware and virii.

If you must have all those things, then you are going to get spyware, virii...etc. One comes with the other.

The best program available that will block you from MOST of that would be like Norton Internet Security Suite.

But, nothing will block everything.

Norton Internet Security, EZ armor, OneCare. Sometimes it is better to use multiple products. Make sure you have a firewall, antivirus, and a anti-spyware/adware.

You can get OneCare for free from Microsoft. Zonealarm is a decent firewall. For adware/spyware protection Adaware (www.lavasoftusa.com) and SPybot Search and Destroy (www.safer-networking.org) are good products.
