Lately when I try to open a web site it has trouble loading the page. I'll hit the stop button and then when I try to open the page the second time it has no problem. What's going on here? Also I have mozilla firefox but it keeps kicking me off-line. I'd rather use firefox. I think the problem is that my virus protection is shutting down firefox. I don't know enough about how to change its settings though. I have McAfee security and am running windows Vista. Any help would be great.
Having trouble with windows explorer and firefox?antivirus downloads
sound more like your firewall or the security settings in internet options. it might be set at high and not letting sites in.i have vista also and it takes forever to load a site. i switched internet providers and it corrected the problem.
Having trouble with windows explorer and firefox?cafe racer
i had a similar problem, except i had spyware doctor as my virus protection. what i did was uninstalled spyware doctor and mozilla firefox. i restarted my computer and reinstalled firefox and the web pages downloaded normally. i did not have anymore problems.
