Windows Vista Help?

I have Windows Vista Home Basic. I have AVG Free Edition as a Virus protection. When I go to Windows Security Center it says, "Windows did not find antivirus software on this computer." Is my computer still Protected?

Yes you are, it's just a problem with Windows.

Please try the WMI Diagnosis Utility here:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=6...

Once you open it, it takes a while appears to be doing nothing, a black screen appears/disappears then eventually a notepad window pops up with things with your system.

If it doesn't have enough "administrative rights", you will have to click Start and type cmd in the search box. Right click on the CMD and click run as administrator. Navigate to where you unziped the WMIDiag.vbs file and type the name there and press enter.

When everythings good it will show:

---------------------------

(WMIDiag 2.0) Information

---------------------------

SUCCESS:

WMIDiag determined that WMI works CORRECTLY.

---------------------------

OK

---------------------------

Instructions on using the program can be found here:
