I'm trying to do a system restore to no avail. Everytime I choose a date I keep getting" restore?pc security

No problem good luck

let me know if you need more help Report It

Thats a spam ware virus. I am 99% sure that unless you know a good technician you can only remove this with norton or mcaffee....

If you have norton or mcaffee ,do a update .

Then do a virus scan and it will delete it for you.

Its as easy as that.

If you dont have either,it will be cheaper than a technician to go out and buy one these virus programs.

I would charge you 100-300 dollars to fix this.I virus program would cost about 60 bucks.

Your choice.
I just did a PC like this and went through all of the web help and I ended up backing up the data and reformatting the drive. I restored the OS and put the data back. If you find a real solution in Yahoo Answers let me know. I put in way too many hours trying to fix the problem when I ended up just reloading. Good Luck.
safeboot then do your system restore.

press f8 repeatedly then choose load options use safeboot.

to get rid of that adware use spybot.

download spybot search and destroy from http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index...

run a scan, then delete all bad file's it finds.

its not a virus but adware wanting you to purchase there product.
do a search on AVG antivirus, I think the site is free.grisoft.com, it is free and will scan and remove any viruses found.
